This trickles down to the staff and this is how morale can suddenly become low to the point that brain drain happens.

Individuals are always going to be looking for ways that they can improve their skills and will not hold any loyalty to a company that is suppressing their progress. Sadly, there is enough places that qualified individuals can go in order to utilize their skills. Ensuring loyalty is about making sure that everyone in the company feels valued. The care should not only be limited to the brain or blue collar workers, but everyone that makes the company regardless of their job titles.

The ideal situation would be that managers actually put put according to their personality compatibility. Otherwise friction in the workplace can often leave you feeling stressed and more inclined not to want to go to work. The balance needs to be achieved as best as is humanly possible.

Companies who progress into the next stage of development and expansion do so because they know how to extract the best from their employees. They know the the right incentives are more likely to increase productivity and also having a platform where ideas can be exchanged is equally crucial. A manager whose door is often closed tends to find out that they are not getting the best out of their staff as they possibly could.

Differences are often easily resolved through understanding and co-operation with others, especially in a working environment where people need to get along. However, a manager needs to oil the ship properly so that is functions without too many hitches.
